Our response to COVID-19

B

owen Law Professional Corporation has been carefully and continuously monitoring the news and recommendations from Government and health authorities regarding the evolving COVID-19 pandemic. During this time, our priority will continue to be the well-being of our clients, our staff and our community. As a result, we have decided to take precautionary measures such that we can help protect the continued health and safety of our clients, employees, families and our community. We will continue to monitor the news and recommendations and adjust our policies and our operations accordingly.

We have decided that we will remain partially open, however please be advised that we will be reducing our hours and we will be working with limited staff during this time. It is our intention to continue operations, and ensure that our lawyers and staff continue providing the exceptional client-focused services and support that normally exist at Bowen Law Professional Corporation.

We are aware that many of our clients are going to be wondering how this will impact the progress of their file. We have put policies in place to allow staff to work from home where possible and we have increased our efforts around office sanitation.
Until the current recommendations of the Government and Health Canada change, we are taking at least the following steps:
1) implementing mandatory social distancing protocols as between
staff and between staff and clients;
2) decreasing office hours;
3) limiting access to the office to only essential appointments; and
4) corresponding as much as possible by e-mail and telephone.

Bowen Law Professional Corporation is confident that through these policies, the use of sound judgment, and working with our clients, we will be able to face the challenge that this difficult time poses. We trust that by working together we can ensure the safety of our clients, our staff, and our community as a whole.

If you have questions about your matter during these times, we urge you not come to the office in person but rather to e-mail us or call the office at 519-539-6789.
